Ok, so I have a 2 1 2 year daughter and she has been a pretty good sleeper since she was born and easily put on a scheduel, all her naps were anywhere from 1 hour to 3 and always 12h at night. So here is my problem, my son is now 7 months old and since he's about 4 months old he has been a terrible napper! Impossible to put on a scheduel of any kind because he is a chronic cat napper, which I don't mind at all because he wakes up happy. My problem lately is that he just fights me like crazy when I try to put him down, on a normal day he gets up at 6 or 6:30, nurse, play til 8am then solids for breakfast, 9am I put him for a nap, hopefully by 10 he will be asleep and then he wakes up in 10 to 45 minutes if I'm lucky, then I do the whole rhythm over again and I have to make several attempts at this point to get him settled and it takes foreveerrr and my daughter gets no time with me because I just spent half the day getting him to sleep and then he wakes up in 20 minutes! Arg! I'm so frustrated, I was hoping this was just a developemental thing cuz he's close to crawling but everyday since 4mos its just getting worse, any ideas??? I need some kind of routine, he is so laid back, should I just work around it and care for him on cue or what? Thanks in advance!
